Went bac to Grandma's house for 3 days.

Sometimes it is so funny [but not tt fun, i think] when u have a cousin [4 yrs old] who keep on showing u repeatedly wad she can do - snapping fingers, use leg to touch head etc... , + another two kid who are kind of addicted to the psp or gameboy and will shout "take that!" or whatever weird language while playing - fighting the dragon or sth?? ...

Sien... Dunno whether I should call tt 3 days a waste.. of time i mean. Did ntg, maybe except teaching two cousins the rubix cube, which they found it chim... Keep on forgetting steps etc even when im making story lines to help them rmb btr... no choice la.. End up they only 半桶水. I think it is btr tt they learn themselves... Tt'll be quicker and easier.

This post is dedicated to a special person [both description refers to the same person], who I really really dun understand why he hated me so much. Being in same school for nearly 8 yrs, living in the same hostel for almost 2 yrs, with 1 yr being in same room, plus it only started like not long ago. What happened?? Probably games caused the less percentage of our friendship as compared to the other gamers, maybe something else made him besong me... But which bit caused this to happen? Not tt I oso besong u..

203 Class Outing

Today go class outing.

After eng remedial, went bac hostel, then take mrt to sentosa. Then met 203 ppl. After that, we headed off to Palawan Beach.

Damn fun, and kena lots of water. But then sadly I injured myself in the mids of it. Somehow I slipped and my left foot came in contact with the ground for a little distance, probably 3.14cm?, and then saw blood coming out. Dammit! At first Kelvin was trying to stop my blood, then saw a man who said that there is first aid kit somewhere, and so got my leg done.

Dun get to go into the sea. Not fun liao... At arnd 6+ went bac hostel.

My foot damn pain, esp when wearing slippers.

1 more week, then go bac to msia.

And so Xinergy team has done with our first display and was published ytd. And omg, there were only 3 videos, and one of them was the school corporate video... Walau... And Bryan's gonna use this for the open houses? Quite weird... I guessed ppl'll soon be boring of tt man... But I liked the background. Really cool!

Gosh... Practise maths, maths Project, DSS. Wow, interesting, looks like im even busier after the exams... Which is more important? What shld I do 1st? Or shld I do them simultaneously? Will I end up liang tou bu dao an? Everyday rush up rush dwn dun seem to be sth good.. And wad's gonna happen next yr? Idk.. 24 hours a day seems to be insufficient when everything crashes tgt.. and especially when u dunno which is more important... And good, it was as if we're nt busy enuff tt we still nidda have english remedial. Omg... Why shld we have remedial for languages, i really dun see the point. Language is nt lik maths or geog or sth tt u can really teach..

P2 wasted 5 marks out of 80 - my working and answers all correct, juz that I wrote the answers until tebalik... shld be vertical = 20cm and corresponding base = 12cm, then i wrote the other way round... Realised that I almost achieved all goals.. Except that I didn't managed to get a medal for ICAS Maths, and I still not sure abt the last one [bt most probably can la..].

Got back some of the results, and a not-yet-confirmed result slip [meaning in case thr's any changes of our marks] for us as a reference for the streaming thingy.

Level Position:64/239, and the actual ranking shld be arnd this area. Not really a nice digit for someone who was called a "scholar", but then I improved quite a bit, 30+ rank. Last semester I only got 102..

And yay!! Realised that our class had improved a lot too! as compared to last semester.

But damn no face, my Maths exam oni have 92. sth... Havent seen my paper yet, so dunno wad's wrong.. Hopefully is teacher mark wrongly ba...

Got 55.5/70 for Geog. Damn happy. Thanks to Zhe Han who taught me Geog the day before Geog exam.

And my Chinese... Wanna hit the teacher who marked my paper. Gave me 49/70 for compo. It's an insult to me leh... My compo lik getting worse and worse.. And my Chinese managed to get A1 sia... Juz reached 75%... Save my L1. Phew..

Saddest news of the year...

Just realised that i got 126/135 for my AMC, provided that the answer given by my friend is not wrong and my answer in my question paper is the same as the answer paper. Dammit, I got the second last question wrong, and that is worth 9 marks. And that's a careless mistake, and I alrdy realised i have this question wrong the day AMC is held. So, if i got this question correct, I would have got a Medal instead of a prize, and an additional piece of Peter O'Halloran [whatever it spelt] Award. Good God.

Who ask me so stupid, perimeter of an equilateral triangle misread as the side of the equilateral triangle, thus i wrote 100 which the actual answer is 300. GnarllllghhH!

Mr Chan said I got High Distinction for ICAS Maths, and I didn't manage to get a medal, unlike last yr. I was thinking whether it's another tragic story...

Xinmin First Open House

Xinmin Open House.

Reached school at arnd 7.45am. Then went to Hall. Test mic, bring equipment dwn.

Chloe and Jamsine reached Hall control at 0817 [meaning 17 minutes late]. Chloe do mixer and Jasmine is lighting. The ending of the story is Yong Kiat came only at shift 2, and Kai Sheng is not coming at all. So left only me as the only backstage crew. Lucky Dawn and Kayying got help. If not it's impossible to solo bring all 3 codensers + 4 wireless at the same time for the Choir performance.

Realised tt btwn 2 performances there is some time which have no performance. Sometimes it even last like 45 minutes or so coz band does not need media support, except maybe 2 mics. So yeah, quite relax.

Haha... Jia Qi damn kasihan. Gordi, the photo advisor, somehow being "manipulated" by Xing Jie and force her to station at the hall, and she was lik "这里都没有东西拍liao..." Yay, get to touch D40 [Yeesh, not D90, sien..]. And dun let Dawn see this sentence...

Damn bek chek with myself during the 2nd shift the GuZheng. Dunno wad lighting can be used for their performance. Tried quite hard finding a btr lighting, but end up lik some 3 yrs old baby playing the lighting board. Siens... Although there was no rehearsal before tt, but it shldnt end up until lik tt lar.. Haiz.. Anyways, the choir performance quite okay, except tt I could have done a btr one.

Haha... did sth funny. Do some guai lan face with Zai Cheng and Wei Li and photo was taken. I was lik having my specs pushed dwn to the vry tip of my nose, then lollipop stick pointed upwards, and stick my tongue out.. Damn funny sia... I want tt photo!!

After the event, forced Claire to debrief, and personally [Haha.. quoted frm her] i think she debrief until quite well lar.. as a first-time IC.

1315: reached school [got CCA photoshoot]. Met Jia Qi - she went to school quite early, and idk why she dun wanna enter the school. Then having photoshoot. I contributed to some of the re-photoshoots - it's either my hand or my leg. My hand, haiz... Amelia kept saying my right hand is too unnatural when holding the walkie-talkie. But the fact was, my hand was in its natural position, juz tt my right hand is not as straight as normal arm - sth happen during 14th Sep 1995 i think, thus become lik tt. Same thing happened when im emceeing during the farewell ceremony - my hand was also in tt awkward way when im holding the mic...

1615: Go to Novotel to receive my AMC prize. Got a Prize award and a Prudence award. Then managed to reach hostel at arnd 1950 - didnt succeed to break curfew, hehe... Lolz..

And this sat'll be Xinmin's first open house. Im on duty from 1200 - 1500, and yay, still dunno the requirements and there'll be NO rehearsal [only know is aesthetic performance or sth], so it means we're gonna sort of impromptu... Heihei.. I love this type of event. But I only scared might screw up with our standard.. Hmm.. Hopefully ntg'll go wrong.

Didnt really enjoyed there. Quite boring.. Somemore need to do worksheet.. Sien.. Mr Yam said my sketching was vry ___, and I was thinking, "hmm... at least i tried right? Originally I didnt intend top do it u know?" Haiz... who ask me to be so anti-art. I'm not born tt way wad..

Realised that I forgot to bring Media shirt. Not a good thing. Looks like I really have 缘分 with Xing Jie - he ytd got CCA but oso didnt bring shirt, then kena 40 continuous pumping, Hui Wen gave de lei... Scary.. Then called Song En. Heng, he was at the hostel, so I asked him to help me bring my shirt. Yess!! Save my push-ups...

CCA. Traning, then got quiz.. Dunno I wrong how many questions, but looks like im gonna contribute to the number of failures.... - the other group, 14 ppl only 2 managed to pass... and both of them are 4/8... Sad case.. Dunno wad is break switch and foot switch. God... I still dunno lots of things for mackie mixer leh..

Hui Wen [if u ever'll read this], from what i see, training is 1 thing, the 2nd thing tt u mentioned juz now shld be the main reason.. Haiz... Hope next yr wont die...

A wasted school day...

After exams, going to school was like wasting time.

0730-0900: Do ntg. Talk, read, play etc.
0900-1030: Field Testing, spent half an hour doing tt english paper, left 1 hour to sleep.
1030-1130: Recess. There is a fire drill in the middle of the recess. Photosynthesizing for 20 mins before going back to class.
1130-1215: Continue burning time.

After school, went to Mcd with Xing Jie, Jit Hui, Fang Sin and Jia Hui. After that Xing Jie and Jit Hui went bac school cuz they got CCA. [Hoho... I guess Xing Jie shld be having his pumpings (or is it frog jump?) now cuz he forgot to bring Media Shirt] Went bac hostel.

Haiz... hostel even more boring. Do maths, read novels, sleep, solve cube. Wad else to do man?

Maybe tmr might be btr. Willl be going to S'pore Art Museum.

Alumni Dinner

Ytd is Xinmin's Alumni Dinner. Somehow sec2 & 3 scholars were also invited to go. An interesting dinner.

So at 6.30pm went to school, and walked up to the hall. Wow, got 56 tables sia..

The dinner was supposed to start at 7pm, but ended up only started at 8. Most interesting part is when one of our school former principal, 周校长, spoke to everyone. Interesting speech by him, and wow, his words were so chim that even the techers only understood less than half of what he said. Not bad for a 90-yr-old, and his speech was lik 20+ mins i think. shiok..

Kelvin damn lucky for the lucky draw. He got 5th prize [or something near 5th], and got sth lik an oven. Yeesh..

End-of-year Dinner; Farewell Ceremony..

Thurs: Today exam ends. At night go HCIBS for the end-of-year dinner. My ex-hostel change quite a bit. And omg... William is almost taller than me now... Maybe he ate better food than me eh? XD. Idk.. And dammit, probably eat too much, got stomachache when going bac to hostel. Worse thing is i nidda walk 4 such a long distance... I nearly collapsed. Recite pi to diminish my pain, but I suddenly stuck at 200+ digit - I actually alrdy memorized till 300th digit, but then idk why forgot..

Fri: post-exam activities. Had inter-house games. My brain got some problem i guess, most likely due to the farewell ceremony that happened later today.. Wait, I mean the preparation part for the ceremony. Do some stupid things during interhouse games.


Next went to AVA room to listen to a talk -- "What a Scientist do?". The A/P quite interesting, and his ears lik had super power or sth.. It's lik when he asked what's ur impression of a scientist, then i said "mad" softly, and he heard it.. Maybe cuz i sit in the front.

Then went bac hostel, rushed eveything.. then bac to school. Rehearsal. Im the emcee leh.. So no need to do AVA stuff [but apparently they still nid me to help abit.. Hehe.. Esp Left Stage]. And event started at 1800. Mdm Liew was punctual, good thing. No need to switch event order. Starting lik very sien tone... script too formal. Then l8r getting more and more high.. Hoho..

Dinner most zha dao wan.. When I went there only left some spicy kueh tiao [or sth similar.. I forgot]. Sien.. And then the drink damn sweet... Sweet as in too acidic, lik pure syrup.. So I add water myself...

Event continues.. Camille and YeeTeng singing. Then, event reached the most important segments. Open floor part was wow, many ppl came up stage and speak, more than 8 ppl i think. Then give out presents. Last part is choir singing.

Yeah, i think u're right. Even simple things like morning asssembly, there are mistakes occuring almost every single day, especially this semester, I realised. Events are done a lot worse as compared to last year. Dunno what will happen for next yr's 65th anniversary. Seems contradicting when Mdm Liew said Media Club is getting more and more professional when events always screw up. Maybe it's time for strict discipline to make every single crew to change their attitude, to be more serious, professional and have more sense of urgency during every duty.

p/s: Song En told me ytd that media crew seemed to be doing their job quite well, and I laughed in my heart..

Tue: English - Quite okay ba.. But my essay... I dun even know wad i was writing. I mean is it narrative, personal recount, expository, or wad?? Sien.. Have a feeling that my English will score higher than my Chinese, which is lik WEIRD..

Wed: Science P2 - Chemistry still okay. Physics... Unpredictable. I not sure whether correct annot. Bio. Preparing for a 11/30. Why is there a difference in size btwn sperm and ovum. God!! Wad question is this? God created us lik that, how would I know why?

Thu: Mathematics P2 - Shld be okay... Currently havent spot a careless mistake.

Today: Geog - Question quite okay, if ntg wrong shld be able to get A1 ba... But then too little time. Spent too much time on first 35 marks. Only got abt 30 minutes for Structured Essay Question..

Another event. Right, another i-hate-this-type-of-situation event..

Scholar's Farewell Party for sec 4 seniors. Unlike the mooncake festival celebration, this event is not last-min-only-inform event. But then, it is held 1 day after Eoy!!! Waalu eh... Very short time in terms of rehearsals, banners etc..

Sequence of programme really very weird. Idk need how many times of switching on and off the Hall lights. It's really ______. And God knows whether they'll change the program again. They've changed it for many times, every time is lik almost totally different program...

Haiz.. Dunno why chose these ppl. If we dun volunteer, I think the event's really gonna screwed up.. 8 speeches for an event??? Siao!!!

Mooncake Festival Celebration + Farewell Party

Ytd our hostel have a Mooncake Festival Celebration + Farewell Party.

Si Hao, president of Parry Hall Comm, told us only 3 hours before the event that we [me, Jonathan, Song En, Joshua and Kean Voon] are supposed to help out for the sound system. OMG... so major de event then no rehearsal at all sia... And 1st time duty in hostel leh..

4.10pm: Set up. 2 RCF speakers, 2 wired mics, 3 clip-ons, 2 laptop for sound part and 1 laptop for video. Realised that most equipments are from our dear Xinmin Media Club. 1 projector is Si Hao borrowed from Mr Tang de. Vry weird part is the RCF is vry far away from where the audience shld be.. Lucky didnt rain sia... If not all equipments is gonna spoil...

6+: Set up projector and the projector screen. Had a hard time adjusting the angle and distance etc.

7.30pm: Event started. All sound adjusted to max volume/very high volume coz speaker very far away from audience. And in fact, even till max, it is not that loud for ppl at vry bac. Jonathan do mixer, then I was supposed to confirm with the performances on the requirements [coz no rehearsal, then we dunno whether they can use mics that we have], and helped them to put on clip-ons. Omg, I was lik so busy until almost pengsan. There was over 10 performance I think, and we oni got 3 clip-ons and 2 wired mics, which is very difficult for me when the next performance needs most of the mics which are used by ppl performing. Not enough ppl, and Song En and Kean Voon is not at the so-called "Backstage" most of the time, and Jonathan is doing mixer, thus only left me and Joshua. Joshua, haiz... those kind of 被动性 de ppl... or was it cuz he is only sec 1 and this event is too big for him? Idk, but at least he did a good job when I asked him to set up for each performance.

Worst part comes when Jonathan, Song En and Kean Voon nidda go for their performance. I had to do mixer and find the next group who r gonna perform. Certain times really vry geram coz next performers dunno gone where alrdy. Then clip-on got many feedback when I'm in the TV room [Tt's where the performers were supposed to wait], so I've to rush out and adjust the volume.

When the President and VP of Parry Hall Comm, I damn happy when Zhe Han [VP] said the thanking part. When he mentioned "Xinmin Media Club for their equipments and manpower" [sth lik tt la..], many Xinmin ppl cheered loudly.

Anyways, the event finally end at arnd 9.30pm, then we packed up. Then l8r saw mdm liew, ms sia etc. Omg, mdm liew recognize me sia.. frm both the Corporate Video and my SMO 18 [not chuaning here horh.. Bt then mrs wong dunno me b4 mdm liew mentioned.. :x]. Then Mdm Liew asked me to et 2nd nex yr. Siaoz.. Lik impossible la.. Senior session so damn hard...

Generally, there were sound feedbacks and Clip-on's problem for some performances. But still Si Hao said we did a very good job. And yeah, for this kind of no rehearsal situation, I think we've sort of reached the standard. And learn sth new.

Wow, realised for the 1st time how important AVA is for an event. Without us an event may not be able to run tt smoothly. [as wad Si Hao said ytd]. Yay, AVA rockkkkssss!!!! THE TEAM BEHIND EVERY CELEBRATION!!!! Hooray! :-)

Chemistry continue learning all those electonic structure thingy. Then Chinese lesson gave bac test paper. Walau, i oni get 34/50 leh... An unexpected b'day present. Haiz... Suo Duan Ju Zi i oni get 1/10.

Monday Assemble was Principal's Address, and omg, she let whole school see the sch promotional video - what anothe r "nice" b'day present. Then all was lik "wa, u vry cute hor" etc etc. Oni 1 person was not so ____ and then say sth tt is nt so suitable for my ears...

CE was so damn boring.. Do some boliao stuff. Then English, discuss a worksheet on this play called "The silly little girl and the funny old tree", then end up tell Mr Foo were lost.. And muahaha... tmr nidda act scene 9 and 10, and I be the silly little girl..

Mrs Lim congratulate me for getting another award - which idk what it is. But heard sth lik nidda go where receive prize or sth. Then I tell her idk abt it, then she was lik "ohh, maybe they wanna leave it as a surprise", and I was lik lol..

Yesterday went to Swiss Garden Hotel. Listen to Mdm Liew and Mrs Lim talk to those ppl who r interested to join XMS nex yr [as a scholar] abt Xinmin. And OMG, watched the video --> my stupid act. 1st time watched the final product.. Not bad sia.. Realised that all the rocket part removed liao.. Left with 1 or 2 pic oni.

Today woke up at 1.45 pm. Break record sia..

Sien... Dun understand a single bit of Physics. Die liao la.. 27 days left leh.. Haiz..

Last Day of the Term! Hooray! And TGIF~!

Today the clock is moving quite fast.

First two hours is D&T. Continue doing the Car Project. After Recess is English. Do Formal Letter. Then Maths taught a bit on probability.

After that, wasted 1.75 hrs doing ntg. 2 o'clock went to D&T workshop to continue doing the project. CCA started at 3. Got PT and checking of equipments. Then at 6+ released, went to join the Photo members to play game [idk wad is it called, bt basically if ur name is called, u nidda called another person's name to prevent being whacked and be the next whacker]. Knew some new Photo sec1s such as Bryan, Zhi Jie, Jeslyn [idk how to spell..], qian nong etc.. [Omg, i forgot the girl sitting at right side of me, i think is oso a sec1 ba..]

One more thing. Realised that lot of ppl seen tt funny video. Photo ppl, and Tifanny and Justin [frm 202 de, nt my class Justin] and Rosyth p6 [if nt wrong shld be this sch ba] have watched.. Dunno whether mdm liew watched alrdy since she today say wad talked to the p6 tgt with the 2 SLs. Sien.. Whole world watch liao still left me -- the main character [am i?] of the video hvnt watched the final product leh.. Cant find Larry today. Bt main thing is, everyone find it FUNNY [Muahaha.. LOL XD], which i assume all are thumbs-up, and not thumbs-down.

Tmr go NUS to receive prizes for some Maths competition. Then later go bac M'sia by bus. So reach home shld be arnd 2330 liao..

Now googling the meaning and usage of Stereo Effects Return and Effects Send etc. All in the mixing console, and even ppl lik Chor Seng and Zi Xuan oso dunno leh.. Somemore no face then wanna 逃避. Found sth related bt still vry luan, still dunno for wad purpose. Haiz...

OMGGG!! Left 31 days to exam leh... I oni started revising Physics, which is my worse subject..

Today CCA session = Vry _____. Undescribably lan.

Realised that I always didnt listen to instructions properly. As in I listened to front part then somhow forgot the back part.. Song En said that's coz im too enthusiastic or sth. Really nid to change this bad habit.

Today trained lighting. Taught Yi Jie and Xing Wei. I oso learned sth new la.. Discovered myself de.. Then I oso taught a little bit on mixer - the aux and pan i think.

Kena many pumpings today.. Until hand quite tired.. Haiz..

Actually I really look forward to attend every cca session and learn sth, bt dunno why end up fail whole thing. Last yr im nt serious abt AVA, and I dun feel lik i've done any mistake; this yr im more concerned with my cca, bt idk why i was lik making more mistakes. Haiz... Everytime hearing Clement or Kelvin said,"did you respect ur seniors" or "did you listen to the instructions?", I really felt vry disappointed with me and other sec 2s.. Next yr die liao la...

Teacher's Day Celebration...

Today = Teacher's Day Celebration. [today oso m'sia's national day la..]

The event was severely screwed up [lucky i nt on duty..]!! Saw a lot of mistakes. Although it may not seem obvious for audience, but it's definitely a nono for AVA. Left a wired mic on the floor in the middle of stage for lik 10+ mins, with more than 20 teachers on stage, many teachers moving around. And heng tt no one ACCIDENTELY stepped on it, if nt... Idk wad were the stage crews doing dwn there, bt there r 4 stage crews + 1 OIC there, no one saw it?? Somemore Hall Control had told them to take it off! In fact, they oni took it off after the teachers have left the stage.

First thing, I went to Hall late, thus dunno where my class is, so go Hall Control to help [esp lighting] after I asked for Kelvin's permission. Then later, Celine went up to Hall Control. I oso told her tt im there, and she said okay.. When the oic of this event came to Hall Control, he was lik asking why am i there. So i told him i came to help, and alrdy told Celine, and he said, " Celine is the advisor, I AM THE OIC!!!" Hwoah... oic jin dua meh?? It was obvious tt he's trying to tell me he oic bigger than advisor... 造反 liao lei... "I'll call u all if we nid help!" Fine, he is oic, i cant say anything.. So i remove my walkie and watched the performance.

Wad a good event sia... Coz got PROFEESIONALS and EXPERIENCED ppl doing duty wad... Dun care abt the mic, stage lights switched off oni when reminded by walkie. Totally no SENSE OF URGENCY!!! OMG! And I seriously dun think they had rehearsed a full-run of the entire event.

NO monitor speakers. They didnt request then no nid. ?? Then I kena hood by Mr Jackson Ng coz he tot im the oic. No bad la his Karate, quite pain.. LOL..

Anyway, after the event, he asked me to explain to him during coming Wednesday's CCA session of why I was there. Okay, as a junior, I definitely will apologize to him for disturbing and SCREWING up his event + nt informing him tt Im in the Hall Control [well, this part is my fault.], and I will promise not to interfere his work/events in future if he is the OIC or Advisor of tt event, so as not to cause the whole event to screw up AGAIN!! And I do hope he realised who made the BIGGER mistake! If not I cant do anything else to make him awake, unless someone will wake him up frm his mistake...

Okay, ignoring the screwing up part [idk is SLs' fault or AVA's fault, or both], the performances were excellent. Esp the teachers acted as student tt play, vry interesting, which reflected wad we students are lik.. Mr Louis Pang socks damn long sia.. Almost till his knees. Mr Tang and Ms Phan hold hands sia [aiyo... XD]. Soup and 小潘潘 Hahaha... Rofl!! “今天是我们的一天纪念日，我把我的心送给你。” Wha... [Hopefully Mr Tang dun see this horh... if nt i'll die on Wednesday...] In comp lab we were lik mimicking their act when Mr Tang came. Ohh... Mr Pang and company oso lik "Jun Jie and Xiao Ling sitting on the tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Hohoho... Looking at the photographs took by our Photo ppl, saw some part no spotlight shining [most of them were when they walking up the stage]... JASMINE!!! Nt good enough horh...

Walau, Dawn! Still desiaoing me hor... Keep on saying "vry interested hor.. 是不是要跳槽啊" Walau, wad 跳槽 la... Then the video members oso lik "要不要过来video"or sth lik tt.. Walau, ppl learning how to use the video camera nia, got so 严重meh... Then found a mic stand and start setting up to cover my 跳槽 rubbish. Spent 33.8 sec sia... So long.. Then when keep one of the part too tight cant unlock [no really unlock, bt cant find the corect word now...], waste arnd 20 mins to get it done...

Wait... Last thing: HAPPY TEACHER"S DAY to all teachers!!

Did something interesting today...

Today did something quite interesting. Went for Remedial then during breaktime been "kindly invited" [or was "kidnapped" a better word XD] by the video ppl to do their film coz today deadline for their competition or sth [idk].

Kay, then l8r Mr Royston was lik calling me up and say i must inform him b4 i leave [coz I didnt tell him]. So I went back to comp lab after Eng Remedial.

So I nidda act as a nerd or sth lik tt. God! Wearing a sch-u tt doesnt fit my body [too big luh... Coz is Albert de..], and carrying a bag [Yu Hui's bag] tt's quite small for me, and so girlish kay. Worst thing is the long pants, way too big for me. They first used dark tape, then not so effective, l8r change to safety pin.

Anyway, acted at quite a few places in sch, lik Sch Gate, SRR, Sch Hall, Field, Parade Square etc.
Some friends were lik shocked by my appearances when they see me, and some looked at me as if im really a retarded person. Zzz...

SRR most fun wan.. Can play with those things inside. Muahaha...

Lunch eat chicken rice. After that went to comp lab. They upload the videos to the comp, so I get to relax for awhile. Wanted to learn sth new --> camera! Saw a D90 on the table, and decided to learn how to use it. Albert oni teach me how to take a shot and how to delete it, other function he dunno liao [coz he is video dept]. Saw Hui Wen [Photo HOD] and asked her. Wade, Dawn [AVA HOD, meaning my HOD la] was lik "喂，要跳槽啊？", coz im learning photo thingy. I think she oso said it at morning when Kay Ying said "eh, u shld join video leh." Sien... I so 忠心耿耿 to AVA, wont 跳槽 de la.. Then Hardi [Video director] said sth [i forgot, bt was helping Dawn la]. Then l8r i said i oso got learn how to use video camera wad.. [Jit Hui and Albert teach wan], and Hardi was lik "Ohh, good! Good!" LOL.. Learn video things then he so happy liao, forgetting wad he said previously. Anyway, get to play a little with the camera, and test out some function.

Something even more interesting tt i've done today: I taught/suggested Clement, our Media Club Vice-president and Xinmin SL president the proper method of correcting his student leader or Media Club members [esp AVA] when they did something wrong or those AVA members who have no interest in CCA! Muahaha... Dunno whether he'll try my method, bt personally i think it shld have its effect on those ppl... U kno who u r..

Anyway, at last done with the filming, and went bac to hostel [which is where i am now].

Games Day!!

Today got unseen poetry test. Not tt difficult to understand the poetry, bt quite difficult to answer [coz my Eng Lit vry lan mah..]. And I hate Art!!! Waste my time, nid to do sth tt i dun lik to do, and pull my average dwn!! If nt i shld be in top 50 for last semester!!

Today is Games Day for CCA session [YAY!], coz it is the last CCA day of the month. Played soccer and Captain's Ball.

First got PT. Well, not as "intensive" as Wednesday, only run lik 2~3 km and pump abt 30 or 40 times in total.

Then went to field to play soccer. Keep on losing coz of some SLACKER! Well, play midfield oso lose, play defence oso lose. Kay fine.

Then went to play Captain's Ball. Boy vs Girls leh.. Bt got some boys [Ye An, Benjamin, Chen Fan and George] to help them, so not so unbalance. + boys oni can use 1 hand to catch ball [bt l8r change bac to both hands oso can]. Quite fun this time. I lik to perform my "Random Throw", which is to throw to the back, meaning without looking at where I'm throwing. Muahaha.... Always tyco de... LOL.

School.

Today Geog got test. Agriculture. Generally kno how to do, bt dun think can get A1 leh..

IT lesson learned a new software called the Google Sketch up. Mr Heng keep on said until "Google Scratchup"... Haha.. XD

Chinese lesson present my ATT, show off my zha dao kind of presenting method again [Muahahaha...]. Bt then after that got bombed by thousands of questions. Sien...

Then Maths lesson, learned Stem-and-Leaf diagrams. Si bei Sien arhhhhh!!! Then started stomachache.

English lesson. Do poem. Still can feel the intense agony in my stomach. When present really cant tahan liao, so ask Zhi Yong helped me read the remaining lines.

CCA.

First taught my teammate everything about walkie-talkie, after that then realised that I taught nothing. All go up fail.

Then, PA system training. Forgot to return walkie-talkies. All together 5, left it at the glass cabinet outside G.O.

Hall setting up. Listened to instruction, bt somhw my brain changed the program. So i thought oni nid 3 wireless +2 wired, and sound frm moniter speakers, where actually i supposed to set 3 wireless and 2 wired and CD volume came out of moniter speakers. Sh*t. And I realised I forgot mic holes are which channels. Chloe oso dunno. Later then I rmb mic hole 1 ~ 10 is channel 1 ~10. Haiz... Chloe oso didnt turn on the knobs for aux. Sigh...

Vry tired, bt still nidda chiong hw. Lucky next Monday Teacher's Day celebration no nid do, if not even busier for me. Probably the only Heng thing.

Today went to esplanade for the forum thingy. Not bad. And I wasted my opportunity sia..

Went up there dunno say wad crap, and the main thing tt i wanted to say didnt appear to come out frm my mouth. Said wad rubbish abt the lighting. I actuali wanted to say sth lik: 人生是一部最难演的现场演出， 因为你根本不知道下一步该怎么演，而导演也往往不在身边。所以，我们应该即席而作，并尽量让大脑过滤后做出最正确的事。

Anyway, quite enjoy the whole session, and learned sth!

Tired-est CCA session, worse attitude for training...

Vry tired today.

CCA session was ______. Undescribable. First we have PT. I was assigned as one of the PT trainers. Vry bad. Cant attend the whole PT session as I was headache halfway and therefore went back to AVA room.

Next thing, [Intensive] training session. OMG!!

Firstly, my group [Cosine group] were assess on PA system, which is considered one of the easiest as compared to outdoor system and Hall system. Yet we screwed the entire thing up -no sound coming out from anywhere. Wallace and I tried to ask he and shefor at least 8 times whether they are playing the music, and we received no reply. Sh*t, I even nid to ask them to reply, and I realised that Im talking to the wall. Then, Isaac asked us to come dwn to the General Office. I asked them wad are they doing and why are they not replying Wallace and I. She said she dunno how to use walkie-talkie, asked him to help her bt he only say "press tt button la" or sth lik tt. Dunno how to use walkie-talkie? Wad rubbish? Okay, fine. Worse thing, when I asked him, his EXCUSE is "im vry tired". And I repeat, this is a bloody chicky ********* excuse. Wad kind of attitude is this?? Was he saying that he was so tired until he couldnt even press a button and speak?? Seriously lack of a single BIT of cooperation and communication. "Press tt button". Wad rubbish nonsense is this? Again testify as wad Mr Tang said during AGM this year,"it takes everyone to continue improve in Media Club's proffesionalism, but it only takes one to destroy the whole thing. Same thing in an event or training, it jus nid one person to screw the whole thing up. One more comment from the Trainers,"stare at the PA system doing nth". Wad?? They didnt intend to like troubleshoot or do sth? Waste every other members time!! Is his Attitude becoming Zattitude? Or didnt exist at all?? Next year is our school's 65th anniversary, and this attitude definitely wont help..

Okay, the other thing. For my part, I do all the work myself at the start, didnt check walkie's batteries when taking it out from AVA store or Hall control. For the second part, I admit it is my fault, coz I too gan jiong when Issac said I've only 3 minutes to get all the walkies, thus I didnt check when I took it out frm Hall control. Bt wad did the first comment meanned? And I think tt the evaluators are sometimes too 管中窥豹 coz they cant see the entire and actual situation, which lead to evaluating the wrong thing to the wrong ppl. Some can be commented as slacking when they are actually the ones who help out the most. Of course I dun mean that evaluation is totally useless or sth, jus tt it is not accurate enough..

Hopefully we could change our attitude by the time it reached the end of this year. Everyone, not just one or a few. Haiz...

Today 1st lesson was PE lesson. Play basketball coz hall was used for prelims. Then English do outline for tmr's personal recount. Siao, essay must be 250-350 words, cant wrtie more than 350 words.

After recess was Art. Do some waste-time work. Chinese got debate bt half way through then lesson end alrdy. Maths is after lunch, discuss Maths test paper, then teach a little bit of chpt 9. Sian sia...

ICAS: min 2 qn wrong, max 6 qn. [Shld be able to get High Distinction bt i wan medal!!]
AMC: minimum 9 marks gone, max is 29. [At least a High Distinction oso i think.]

众人皆醉我独醒 vs 圣人不凝滞於物

Quite sien.. although there are a lot of hw waiting for me, and exams are less than 7 weeks away. Haiz... My English and Lit vry poor, Chinese and Maths still okay. Geog and Bio, considered know bt not so good. Chemistry still dunno yet, bt shld be okay. Physics, lots of formulae and half know half dunno - lik wad ppl called 一知半解. Dunno whthr can make it into top 50, bt hopefully can [duh..].

Sometimes, Im in a dilemma --> shld we do wad ppl say, or shld we do wad we think is rite [Given that we are supposed to obey wad the person say, and wad we think is rite is different frm wad the person say]. Worst case senario: all ppl say this must be done, and u kno definitely things will go wrong, or rather not necessary.

Tt's why 屈原 said "举世皆浊我独清,众人皆醉我独醒". He wanted to do the right thing rather than following the world to do the wrong thing. Bt the fisherman oso had his point - we must adapt with wad the world is like, y do we nidda be so perfect?

So, shld we be the only concious man in the world, or follow the world to be drunkl? Must we be more perfect or more unrestrain?

Media Club AGM 2009

Today is Media Club AGM. Released at 1215 and go AVA room. Since nothing much to do, go to Xinnovate Lab later with Xing Jie, Jit Hui and Jia Qi to watch the debate between 203 and 206 tt we're supposed to attend if we dun have duty. Jit Hui was just on time to go for her debate.

So the debate was quite smooth for the start, then later 206 was like keeping on go POI!. Randall was lik vry kasihan lar.. Then later Jit Hui was the last speaker for opposition, rejected many POIs, 206 was lik no nid money lik tt, keep on raise hand. Okay, so lastly was last speaker for proposition, and the speaker so funny sia.. I think he too nervous or something, only speak 3 sentence then finish, somemore lik stuck here stuck there.. And OMG, the 2nd speaker from his team was lik chasing him until he ran off the Lab, which made Miss Fizhah damn angry. 2nd debate didnt watch, we went bac down to AVA store. Jit Hui was lik keep on saying this was her worse debateBut later knew that both debate oso our class win.

Go eat lunch at 1445 at coffeeshop outside the sch. After that, we went back to sch. Then 1530 go into the AVA room.

Speech by Zi Xuan and Mr. Tang were quite meaningful and 意义深远. Mr Tang told us to make our dreams true or sth lik tt, and of course a lot more things. After that forgot wad happen alrdy, only rmb tt ppl coming out for food!! And Vanessa, Jit Hui, Kenneth and me are catering crews, which means to serve food for ppl. Then later got photo-taking session.

After that, clean the places. Jit Hui's father fetched her back, then i follow her back coz alrdy 1930+ so dark. So finally reached back hostel, vry tired.

Noooo... Tmr got English Remedial + SL Investiture, until 3pm leh...

Had maths test today. Not too hard, but quite tricky.. Hopefully can get 100%. Sadly, I only get full marks once for last year and once for this year, ONLY.. Haiz.. always some careless mistake..

Tmr is Media Club AGM. Im one of the crew. Catering, together with Vanessa, Jit Hui and Kenneth [a guy frm 201]. Xing Jie is the Master of Ceremonies [Wow, vry nice name.. LOL]! Next Monday, SL Investiture. I am backstage for this event. Rehearsal on Saturday, I think.

OMG, term 3 oso gonna end alrdy... So fast.. left 7.5 weeks to EOY, which is less than 2 months. Btr start to revise something..

OMG OMG OMG~!!!! Really can't believe it - I get rank 18 for SMO!!

Zha Dao.. Dunno whether I'm dreaming now. Pinch my cheek, pain! So I assume I'm not dreaming.. And it's quite weird because I only did 2.5 questions for the 2nd round.. I thought I'll be just getting another Gold and not top 30.

Just now checking the SMS website, and saw my name. For team result, Xinmin [Junior Section] only get rank 9, which means drop 3 ranking as compared to last year.. Sien.. Senior and Open Section didnt see the word "Xinmin", which is quite sad. Haiz..

Phew... Finally it's over..

After assembly, went up to the Hall while others proceeded to class. Set up equipments, deployed walkie-talkies, then test the mic and video volume. Sien.. 2nd video very difficult to "provide quality sound" coz Miss Sun's and Miss Phan's voice is so soft, but Mr Pang's voice was so loud.. Haiz..

Then the teacher keep complaining got buzzing sound. Sien... Somemore requested the mic [or was it DVD volume?] to be increased to maximum volume. Zha Dao. Told him definitely will feedback, wont listen.. He wanna blast the whole Hall, and let the whole sch become deaf?? So find Mr Tang, who told us cannot increase till max. So yay, just follow the correct instruction..

Then photo oso got problem - Mr Tang wan the photos of the collage before and after pasting those drawings by all classes, but the banner thingy alrdy put downn, so the teacher dun let us scrolled it up again.. Then Kelvin go ask another teacher who allow, and photo taken.

So the event started. So there are 2 videos. 2nd video still had some slight feedback, cant be avoided, no choice. Then Choir lead the sch to sing national day songs. Still requesting louder voice, haiz... After that, Mdm Liew unveil the collage - LOL, she was using a spoiled controller to pretend to click on a button, which at the same time people at backstage click on the real button..

Then, Mdm Liew sang 2 national day songs with the 5 choir members. And OMG, 1 of the choir members dun have mic.. There is a standby mic at right stage, and the crew there didnt do anything - they say they didnt see the choir member - whatever reason it is.. Still nid me to get the mic for the choir member. Not alert enough. Haiz..

The biggest problem in this event is that TIC is the wrong person...

Today got AMC. Quite easy, at least a lot easier as compared to last year's question, and it is somehow easier than the ICAS Maths.. I mean ICAS Maths was also easy..

Okay.. so today still got rehearsal for tmr's event.. Mr Lee said 1730 to 1830 rehearsal, at the end havent even started when it was 1830.. Chor seng was like talking to me about everything tt i nidda know as an oic, then only i realised a lot of things still havent done, and some even dunno it shld be that way..

Die.. Hopefully wont be too bad lar... It's a small event, and I hope nothing goes wrong.. If not Chor Seng is gonna scold and punish me - and all the crews... O.o

Monday Assembly today totally screw up..

Today's Monday Assembly was terribl... probably the worse assembly that I've been on duty since last year..

Recess is from 1015 to 1115, I went to General Office at 1015 to get the key from Mr Tang's tray and went to the Hall. Met Wallace, one of this week's Monday Assembly crew, who said he go eat first then come.

So I went to the Hall Control. Nid 2 wireless, 3 body-packs, 2 condensers and wired mics. So I tested 2 mics and took some XLR and power cable before Song En came. Asked him to bring it down. Worse thing - Chloe only come at 1050! I tell her that I can't find any body-packs, and she went to the AVA store. Came back and told me she can't open the door, and I knew the whole thing is gonna messed up - the door vry hard to open, the key problem i think.. Must tyco only can open.. SO I went down and so tyco, 1st try alrdy open the door. Get some stuff and rushed back, and same problem occured - door too hard to lock... Waste some 5 minutes to lock it. Damn the door!!

So it's 1100 and Wallace told me I get the wrong headset when I reached the Hall.. Shit! It's not so good luck for me this time.. Wasted a long time trying to open the door. Asked my junior to help me locked the door when I take the correct headset, and i rushed back to Hall Control..

For dunno wad reason the body-pack no sound.. Mdm Abey keep on wanting to test the body-pack.. Ask Chloe, then she said nidda change RGB cable coz got problem.. colour not right. Wallace suggest to change to another headset, and finnally got sound, sent it down to the stage.. OMG, wad is this, last minute only done. Then Mr Yeo was like asking us to open the aircon in the Hall - omg, forgot to switch on.. Then I saw so many people pulling their shirts...

Worse part came during the event.. It's some Drama kind of thing and Spelling Bee. Drama wan still okay.. Coming to Speeling Bee... The teacher will be telling the contestants the word, and the contestants on stage should answer.. This is the thing - i didn't set up a moniter speaker on stage since Dawn say no nid, therefore when the teacher is saying the words, everybody can hear it except for people on stage. So almst every contestant was like "can you please repeat the word" etc.. And I was like so damn no-face... and also due to the different height of different contestants, whenever the next contestant prepared to answer the question, my crew will nidda adjust the mic stand. Then Mr Jackson Ng was like came up the Hall Control and told us that we should have put a table there and set up a moniter speaker to put underneath the table so that the contestant can hear the teacher better and no nid mic stand - just put the mic on the table. Damn no-face as a TL..

God, Friday somemore I am the OIC of National Day Celebration.. Monday Assembly oso do until so messy, how do i expect myself to do a good job on friday?? Arhhhh...

Physics. Miss Oh didnt come, so Mr. Tay teach us [not the young Mr Gabriel Tay, but the other 1]. Omg, it's like so... undescribable. His voice was so soft as if he was talking to the ants beside his mouth... And actually i read that passage before.. Yay! 长文缩短 most zha dao wan... Simply write some short sentence.. I oso dunno wad to write..

Overall quite easy, so I wish I can get at least 80%!

Chinese test tmr. EngLiang ask me how to revise for the green colour book, so I tell him "just read through la..". Actually I oso not sure the best method to revise all these 成语 or 俗语 or whatever it is. JiaHong write everything into a notebook. I dunno others how to revise, but I think for those tt cant rmb so well can actually try his method.. But never ask me to do that.. I am very lazy wan... I prefer to read it once before the test to just refresh my memory..

Next week got NSW Maths and AMC. Hopefully the NSW Maths can get a medal again, lik last year, coz its lik testing ur accuracy or something lik that.. AMC no hope, probably getting a Dintinction again... [I wanna get High Distinction!!]

Geog: Today only discuss about wad chpt we will be learning for this sem, and we did 1 w/s.
IT: Still learning cinema 4D. I hvnt even done 1 assignment/object.
Chinese: [Yay!] It was as relaxing as ever. Discuss about some important things in 逗号, then she give us a 心理测验
Maths was boring [as usual]. Mrs Khor lost her textbook (in our class bt now dunno who took it) therefore she teach quadratic functions 1st.
English do 1 poetry on "kite" in groups. Eng Liang suggests us to do Haiku, a type of Japanese poetry which consists of 17 syllabus - 5 in the first line, then 7, then 5. So we did 2 Haiku since it was kinda considered easy, but then we did a quit bad 1, somemore got 6 syllabus wan and we didn't realise before we pass up. The first Haiku was:

Today go NUS [LT 25] for Smo 2nd round. About 200+ ppl taking.

It seems that this year is somehow easier than last year coz last year I can only do 1 question but this year I can do 2.5 questions. But haiz, it still not good enough to get into top30 unless miracle appears. 3rd question is quite an easy question. 1st question waste me quite some time. At first I thought it is got something to do with Stewart's Theorem but then later foundout that it is just using similar triangle to prove. Sweat! 4th question I can't prove some of the parts but the formula is known. Dunno whether will cut marks annot... 2nd question I still dunno howda do and 5th question simply rite some rubbish. Hope can earned at least 1 or 2 marks... I think can at least get a Gold Award barhs...

Camille [and her mum]'s bday celebration

Today go camille [and her mum] 's bday celebration in shabu-shabu.

From 11+ to 2+ we [me, Ye-John, Zu Yao, Henry, Andrew and Jonathsn one table, then Camille, Yee Teng, Yee Shin, Jinny, Ee One and Rebecca another table, then our parents sit together] eat and talk. Mr Liew also came, and he brought his fiancee along *aiyohs* [will be married on aug 28 this year]. Our parents was like somehow make fun of him. First thing I heard was from Aunty Mavis [Camille's mum], and she was like "Liew lao shi, ni de lao po ah?" [Mr Liew, your wife ah?], and I was like laughing. And then, he also talk about this year's smo paper, and he oso say vry difficult, [coz even he himself cannot finish in 2.5 hours]. Then Henry came, and I was like my God, he oso botak ah? [although his hair still longer than me].

Zu Yao was in his usual boliao action. Ye-John was still the i-feel-like-want-to-sleep-leh half-dead mannr. Ee One was in her original hyperactive style, she saw me she said,"ah wensoon, cut your hair ah?" in Mandrin, with her hyper action. Andrew is the funniest of all [if I am not considered as one]. Undescribable. Yee Teng was not so emo today. First time saw Jinny [I mean in the past 2.5 yrs], and I thought... Haiz, forget it. Then Yee Shin, she today sabor me until lik siao, and bad news for her - someone say she very ugly... [Not me!]. Then Cheryn [Camille's younger sis] was like scared of many things. Oops, did I miss commenting someone?

Then at like 2+, we play truth or dare, and it was like wadexxxx. We use chopstick as the spinner, and I kena few times [duh...], and everytime I want dare. First time: eat some disgusting leftovers, which is quite okay [somehow feel quite delicious]. Then second time: the stupid Yee Shin ask me act as cleaner [you will know what it means if you see the video in facebook (posted by Yee Shin, dammit!)]. Kays, fine. Third time even worse: I was suppose to act as Henry's girlfriend [also Yee Shin's idea] and beg him to buy something for me, and so I perform my usual funny action [I guarantee you will laugh like siao (and probably stomachache) if you watch the video posted by Yee Shin (also in Facebook)]. I think I should work as actor next time since I am so potential [isit?]... Anyway, later I sabor her by asking her to hold the fork [which is poking a papaya] in the mouth and run to the other corner of the restaurant and run bac - without dropping the fork, which she did. Haiz, should have punish her by something else, but nevermind larhs.

Haiz, anyway, today was quite fun. Tomorrow going back to Singapore by First Coach, again with a lot of ppl.

SMO invitational round [2 weeks later...]

Haiz, cant imagine... I made it to the invitational round for the SMO.

Warhz, unbelievable. But yes it's true. I remember myself dunno how to do so many questions, but i think other people also dunno how to do, thus pushes me into the 2nd round. Now qionging to do the pass years' questions. Most of them are so hard until I can sit down there 1/2 an hour and still cant solve a question [although 1 full piece of paper is used].

Let's just hope that I can do at least some of the questions on the actual day.

Walaos so sad sia... Xinmin very little ppl made it into 2nd round. Junior Section only me alone. Senior Section is Khoa and YiFei, Open Section is Stephen [as usual]. Altogether only 4 ppl, 1/8 of HwaChong's participants and 1/12 of RI [they've 48 ppl!].

It was so much harder than last year, and only 13 questions that I can be sure they are correct, others all tembak or unsure, somemore I've got 6 questions (which I dunno) that I wrote the answer as 2009, and I think none of them was correct after refering my answers to Lim Jeck, an NUS high student who won the 6th position last year (actually he also said the questions are hard). Wish I can at least get a Bronze award.

Quite well prepared. Just realised that I can do some of the questions that I didn't know how to do last year. I'm gonna finish as many questions as I can for the past year junior sections questions. And I aim to get at least 30 questions correct.

I think I lost a chinese book (its from the school library). Damn, quite expensive leh that book (at least that's what I think). Just wish that I accidentally left it in the library and the librarian took it away. If not... I'll bankrupt!

Results for semester 1... School Holiday...

Today giving out report book. Improve a big gap, and I was quite surprised. I get 102/239 for the sec2E level, and my class position is 15/39. But still lose many people... Kelvin got 1st (level position 7) in our class, followed by JitHui (level position 12), Terence, Jolyn, PuiYing, Tiffany... Mdm abey was like saying that our class is very strange coz we always "take turns" to be 1st in class. EngLiang was 1st for last year's midyear, and end-of-year is JiaHui.

Today's CCA session is Games Day. Play Captains Ball (seems to be Media Club's Tradition). Very fun, but I somehow too violent...

Finally reached school holidays. Haiz, still got 37.7 hours more English Remedial lessons before going back to M'sia. Smo is 4 days later, thus this weekend I will be doing Maths for at least 16 hours of Maths for both days altogether.

Two days ago went to the esplanade for the band concert, limelight, by our Xinmin Symphonic Band. Quite fantastic and the $16 is worth it. They are really deserving Golds with Honours for their quality sound.

Tommorow we'll be getting back our report book. Can feel my heart starting to speed up. Scared. I'm not gonna take combined science!

SMO is nearby. Really have to start massive preparation this weekend.

Preparing to take combined science... (terrible results)

Today, after knowing my overall results for semester 1, I was shocked - my average is 69.2. I thought I've improved, and actually I have, just that the D&T (50.6%) dragged me really down to the ground. Expected this type of marks coz I simple do those project (nightlight etc). No hope for top 160 (not to mention top 100)... Thus, I'm preparing to take combined science unless this world really has this thing which spelt M-I-R-A-C-L-E.

Later going to the Esplanade Concert Hall for our Xinmin Band's performance (Limelight). Only got the ticket yesterday. 16 Dollars.

Damn, by Friday nidda hand in Art (My Family Identity) and Chinese ATT. Both only just started...

Trying to make a short post today.

We can do the wrong thing at the right time... Do what you think is right withough needing to care about the rule of the game...

First thing in the morning after I walked back to class, I take my History, Chem and Bio papers to look for teacher mentor. I don't think Ms. Oh would arrive so early therefore I decided to find Ms. Sia. Reaching the staffroom, I found YeeTeng and Camille there saying that Ms. Sia was not in. We waited for like 3.14 minutes for another tacher mentor but ended up seeing mdm abey first. YeeTeng didn't check her SMB for very long until yesterday, and she was scolded by her, and I also kena somehow because she said I should remind her (I checked SMB everyday and she checked once a month probably). Then saw Ms. Xiao, who helped us sign our papers.

Today so many poeple kena scolded due to incompleteness of filing the English file or didn't check SMB. Venassa was the most ke lian wan - her uniform was not properly worn and therefore mdm abey asked her out and also during the first 45 minutes of Ms. Tee's lesson, and she cried. Ms. Tee was like saying that she missed so many precious time of her lesson, and she somemore asked us to be in our perfect behaviour so that mdm abey cannot catch any mistake from us. But it was like impossible, if you know what happened to YueXin.

Excused for half of the Maths lesson for the XGT thing, and it was a total wastage because we were finding the Hall Control key for the full half an hour, and it is like walaueh biangeh - the key was not with Dawn or Mr. Tang or his tray, but in Ms. Fizhah's hand. What the hell man, really wanna cursed her seriously liao. Like she taking the key got use like that! We somemore kena scolded by the idiot office staff and other teachers like Mrs. Yap etc. The whole XGT event screwed up. 2 wireless microphone got no battery, the mdm Sai kept on ordering us to blank and unblank the screen during the same performance (where the two girls singing). If they got only 31.4 votes, it is really our fault. And worse thing is, Jntn being someone "experience", is so stupid and "experienced person" that she follow everything mdm Sai told us, and see what happened??! Think yourself is very smart is it? I suggested to just stop it even if it is wrong because it don't really affect the performance, but he is so stubborn that he is gonna kill their entire performance severely!!

CE lesson. Asked us why so late for class. And she expected us to be punctual during her lesson. Such a SELFISH woman sia...

People can do the wrong thing at the right time. We need not follow the rule of the game. We just need to do what we think is right, and not what the law regards it as something "RIGHT"! Of course I'm not saying that poeple can go and rob etc. But, as an example, rob from an embezzled person and use the money to donate to people who needs money is a right thing to do although it is a wrong because we sholdn't steal!

Reaching the last week of term 2. I think there will be a lot more holiday homework than last year.

I'm suppose to pass up Chinese ATT by Week 10, but until this very moment, I 'm still at the first quarter. Haiz... I asked some of my friends and they said they haven't even started to do.

Next Friday we will be getting our Report Book, and I was very worried about the current results of mine: (SA1) 4 A1, 1 A2, 1 B3 and 1 C5. I mean I shouldn't be getting something like C5 although it is English. B3 for literature is also no something to be proud of because most of my classmates got distinctions. I also felt quite disappointed by my Chinese, which I go only A2, because I've been studied mainly Chinese throughout my primary school life and I should be getting as high as 80%+ and not just 72.8%. The comprehension part was the main killer, where I only got 15.5 out of 52 marks.

First tuesday of this coming June Holiday was SMO, and Dr. Toh expects me to get 30 out of 35. It seems to me an unreachable number. I only got 26 last year, and the questions last year was far easier than past year's questions! Really don't know how to achieve it. I can do it actually, but with no careless mistake, which is nearly impossible for a person like me. Worse thing is, we still have English Remedial for the previous day, and it is 7.5 hrs! Imagine how much time of the day have this remedial slashed off my precious time for revising my Maths. Anyway, Dr. Toh asked me to enjoy throughout the competition, and this is the most important thing.

I really look forward to take double Humanities, and I wanted Chinese Literature as my pure Humans. But, many people seem to comment things like:" Siao ah, want to take Chi Lit." and the reason is probably becoz i'm not from China, taking CL Lit will be the most stupid choice. But I don't care. I wanna take!I will do pretty well for my Chinese (in fact, I already have more than 70% for Chinese and more than 65% for history, which are the 2 minimum requirements) and I'll take 1B1 as my subject combination. I will study really hard for my Science and English too during this coming holiday!

10 days to SMO. XGT next Monday

Just now I went to school for Maths Olympiad and English remedial. Maths Olympiad was basically as usual, and I remembered that SMO was only 10 days away. OH MY GOSH, I don't really have much time more, and I still haven't started revising my notes. I doubt I would satisfy target set by Dr. Toh - get at least 30 out of 35 questions correct for the first round!

Then we have English Remedial. Mrs Victoria didn't come, so Mr. Royston took over our class and we learned summary today. Why were we still learning this? I mean we were like learning those sec1 thing where you'll nidda summarise a paragraph into 80 words that kind of stuff...

Then we have a short break. YeeTeng and Camille asked me to buy ChinChao, so I buy three, and I make YeeTeng belanja me. Bad things came: after drinking finish the ChinChao for like 10 minutes, then I got stomachache. And what the hell sia, YeeTeng and Camille say I've got menstruation... It is like what larhz, I am a male la, not even a she-male, although my voice is irregular and therefore sometimes might change to female voice...

Later after English Remedial, I supposedly should be helping the NPCC to setup something at 1pm, so I had lunch with YeeTeng, Camille, SiShiong, EeOne, YewMeng and Rebecca at outside the school, somewhere near the ATM that we usually take our money from. Then I go back to school before I knew that I no need to help the NPCC liao. Walaueh. So I went back to hostel.

Next Monday is XGT finals. Got 6 performance: (if I'm not wrong) 2 magicians, 1 pianist and 3 singers. I just wish that this time don't screw up again because there are more eyes this time (because is during Morning Assembly marh). AVA is a service club which not only provide light and sound, but QUALITY light and sound. I truly hope that AVA (and other departments in Media Club) would try their very best to strive for this common goal. We can do it!YAYS!

Quality service. Smooth event. Audience enjoying the performance. This is our goal, and we must push ourselves towards it.

Today is Friday! Not a very good Friday though...

First thing in the morning after flagraising, mdm abey wanted to see us (scholars) again, and she repeated the same thing as yesterday, again. Just that she seemed to be talking more about the CCA part where she asked us to cut down our time on CCA. I think YeeTeng told her badminton teacher that she wanted to quit the CCA or something like that making her seeing us again. She also commented that me and Jntn spent too much time for CCA and missed A LOT of lessons. Rubbish!!! I usually missed only like 10-15 minutes for CE lesson due to Monday Assembly duty which was before CE, which I think was the reason that make her think we were missing lessons. I mean I rarely missed other lessons except for XGT duty, which is like only 4 times, each about 5 minutes only.

Anyway, later she dismissed me and Jntn and talked to YeeTeng personally. Until about 8.05am only they came back to class. Mdm Abey wanted to check our Englishfile, which nearly half of the class didn't brought it. All kena mdm Abey scolded until nearly towards the end of the lesson. Ke lian sia YeeTeng, kena double kill by mdm Abey, both the results and also forgetting to bring file to school.

After that we was supposed to have Chinese, which dunno why turned out to be CCM. Mr. Ang KY don't allow us to read novels/storybooks in class, which therefore I decided to go to the library, where I saw YeJohn, SiewLi and Henry. Later YeeTeng also came. Unexpectedly, mdm abey brought the 208 to the library to borrow books, firstly boys came in and borrow, later until the girls. It was like very funny sia, because mdm abey wanted them to be quiet in the library and they must show her what book they are borrowing before they proceed to the caunter. It ended up the teacher being speaking a lot louder than all students plus together. One pity boy kena scolded for being browsing to look for a book for too long. Walau, she suddenly saw me reading newspaper and asked me why I was there and I was like:" Now they got CCM and I no nid to attend." and she was like:" oh, no need to attend...". Dunno what she meant by saying this sentence.

So I finished Vampire Blood Triology by Darren Shan today and passed it on to EngLiang. XingJie said he's gonna bring the second book (in fact: book 4-6 three in one book) and lend me. 1am was Maths Olympiad, and after that I went to the Hall for the last part of XGT rehearsal. Then, CCA started.

Terrible for today's CCA. We were to setup in the Hall and Charissa, Chor Seng and Celine will be the "fake" performers. "FAKE" is really TOO fake - they really acted so dumb until no common sense - even a baby knows not to do that! To give some examples: Chor Seng keep on tapping and beating the wired microphone, and complained that it was way too soft when it is already loud enough, and he wanted rainbow colour for the lighting - what the hell did he want, I don't think he himself or even the professionals can make it due to the quality of our lighting console - he was like wanting the real rainbow colour to be appeared together from left to right = IMPOSSIBLE sia... Charissa was another one: She treated the walkie-talkie as a football, walkie-talkie earphone as her necklace, and she continuously and randomly and purposely stepping on the wire and wouldn't stop that when we warned her. She and Celine even nearly dropped the entire Mixing Console to the floor!!!

Haiz... Life. Is getting 10 A1s for O Levels our goal of life? Must be excel in all areas to be a scholar or a genius? These are to be pondered deeply and perspective-ly (meaning from different angles)!

Returning of other papers...

Today I'm getting my last three papers: Physics, Bio and D&T, and I had done quite badly in terms of comparing with others in my class, although my Bio marks was too unexpected (I thought I would have failed it, but it turned out to be 22/30).

Okays, so we have our Physics lesson after PE lesson, and our class were quite 'insane' today. We greeted Ms. Oh in Chinese, so we go:"oh 老师早安.", and she was like introducing her Chinese name:何惠娟, and I was like laughing quietly remembering zuyao calling her name as 伟强. Then, I received my Physics paper, which I got 18/30. Not so bad as compared to my CA1, but it is still not considered a good grade to squeeze myself into triple or even double science class. Anyway, Ms Oh also showed us all our sciences marks, and I got A1 for science (actually only got 75.8, nothing to be proud of). Together with my CA, I got A2.

After recess, we have English. Mdm Abey discussed with us the compre questions. Later, she asked me YeeTeng and Jonthn (all scholars from our class) to see her. She seemed to be very disappointed and angry with our results, which I felt very strange. She was like saying that we did very badly and our results are terrible, and we did not improve, really need to bark up, we need to read more English storybooks, too busy with CCA thing, more privileges than others (Singaporeans), we are scholar and therefore should be getting very good results, some Singaporeans are better than us, we must be good in all subjects and not just Maths and Science, some of our results are lower than the average score, she need to write a report and we may be sent back to Malaysia, the school had sent people back before as late as sec3 or 4, Singaporeans score badly but they will still be in Xinmin and in Singapore whereas if we did not score well our scholarship will be cancelled and we will be sent back home to Malaysia, and etc! What she expect sia? Scholar are not genius for all areas, but maybe only on certain areas! Genius usually were not good in all areas. Just take Albert Einstein as an example. He is good in Maths and Physics but not in the languages like Latin. In fact, For these two millenium, probably only Jesus and Leonardo Da Vinci can be considered as genius of all fields!

Anyways, Ms Wong hates our style of greeting her in Chinese, and she said she has no Chinese name (Huh?) Then we received our Bio paper. Last period was D&T (replacing ATS), and I got 38/50 for this paper. Actually I considered myself quite bad because I expected myself at least 85%.

Life is not for exam. Study is not for exam. An A1 for our learning attitude is much more important than our results. This was adapted by my Chinese teacher, Ms Tee. But don't know why many students are seeking exam as his/her main goal of life, and their teachers and parents are expected and extended the pressure to push them to the summit of the exam. Not everyone can reach the summit of the Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in this planet. BUt we can always try our best. Don't push ownself to the summit if you can't and just because you're kiasu poeple. We may not climbed to the summit of moutain, but we can also try swimming over the Pacific Ocean, and many more things in this whole wide world that we can do. Always remember: 勉强是没有幸福的！Try your very best, but never do things that you really can't do!

Exam Results Released...

Today, we received some of the results for our mid-year exams, which I don't really fill satisfied by them.

First is History. I get 75% (too unexpected, I thought I would have failed it) for it, but I feel very no face when I knew that 17 poeple in my class have their results better than me.

Next is E Maths, the only subject I expect a full mark for the paper. Unfortunately, I only got 97% (still the usual mistake: forgot to simplify the negative signs and stuff like that), which I felt not-so-good having myself aware that Willianto, the "High in Mathematics" awarder for last year and the first position in the whole level, got 99%! Oh no, I don't think I'll ever win him leh...

After that was Chemistry, which I did pretty well for it: I got 28 out of 30, though I'm not the highest in the whole level (someone called jianghui who should be in 205 got full marks. But in any case, it was unexpected that I reached this far).

After recess, Ms. Tee (Chinese teacher) walked in - she was back, from some course kind of thing. And I did my Chinese quite badly - being a student from a Chinese primary school in Malaysia, I should never reached this low, especially when there was essay helping to puul up my marks. I got 72.8%, A2 though, but I was not that satisfied - the target I set in the beginning of the year was 80%. Although Ms. Tee said that this exam was really challenging and that end-of-year exam won't be so difficult, I still don't feel too good. Also, I expected my essay to be at least 60 out of 70, which only turned out to be 55. Anyway, Ms. Tee set us an A1 target, which is: letter writing get 16/20, essay get 49/70 and 85/110 for compre.

Finally, English and Literature, which I also did badly. I got C5 for English and B3 for Lit, which I felt very sad - I should have got more for English, the passage was lot easier than last year. Report failed me terribly! I got 14/30. But my essay have some improvement - 22/30.

Overall, I think I have to a lot more harder, especially for my English.

After school we have MOE meeting with the MOE officer, adn later was CCA. CCA was not that good today. After PT session, there was training on setting up the wireless speaker. Me,Wallace and Chloe, were to teach 10 people including: Jingyi, KeanVoon, SongEn, Alisah, Ngee Kiat, Collins and some sec1s whom I can't really remember. It was terrible. I don't even know how to set everything up at first, which means I can't teach them (I can only train lighting console which I am most familiar with). But anyway, we tried our best to teach them on plucking those RCA into converter into bodypacks and free-end to amplifier and etc. Managed to move on our teaching towards the end, but Chloe kept on saying that she was not sure whether they really understand. You know, we taught until so luan, and some of them are those like unwilling and uninterested to learn things that kind of people... Urghh, no choice, Celine go and picked those people where most of them are like blur blur wan, and she don't allow us trainers to give hint that kind of things. And in the end, the system was "successfully" worked after many funny sounds coming out from the RCF and the help of others (people other than the chosen five).

Haiz, learned some new things through the process of training them anyway. And I was once again realising some things: teaching or training someone was not an easy job, and you really nidda be familiar with what you need to teach!
